About the event

Ashley Bell (she/her), RN, MN, is a queer registered nurses currently residing on Treaty 1 territory (Winnipeg, MB). She recently graduated with her Master of Nursing from the University of Manitoba (October 2025). With her past experience in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), her master's thesis utilized qualitative, arts -based methods to explore the lived care experiences of 2SLGBTQIA+ parents who had an infant in a Canadian NICU. Ashley currently works with the IN-GAUGE research team led by Dr. Roberta Woodgate (Tier 1 CRC), which focuses on improving children, youth, and family well-being by uplifting their voices in the research process.
