The Marg Farley Award
The Marg Farley Award was established on the initiative of the Saskatchewan Operating Room Nurses Group (SORNG) in 2022. The award is presented at the Provincial Conference when there is an appropriate nominee - an outstanding nurse who made a significant contribution to perioperative nursing in Saskatchewan, and who reflects the practice and ideals of Marg Farley of Regina, Saskatchewan.
The recipient shall receive $500 from SORNG.
Nominations to be received by Sept 14 of each year, to be presented at the AGM.
The Sharon Wandzura Award was established on the initiative of the Saskatchewan Operating Room Nurses Group (SORNG) in 2022. The award is presented at the Provincial Conference when there is an appropriate nominee – an outstanding nurse who made a significant contribution to perioperative nursing in Saskatchewan, and who reflects the practice and ideals of Sharon Wandzura of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
